Sala de Exposiciones Luis Miro Quesada Garland

The Sala Luis Miró Quesada Garland is a space dedicated to contemporary art, supporting both individual and collective projects, primarily focused on the visual arts. It operates as a non-profit cultural center and is managed by the Cultural Affairs Department of the Municipality of Miraflores in Lima, Peru.

Founded in 1984 by art critic Luis Lama Manzur under the name “Sala de Exposiciones de la Municipalidad de Miraflores,” it opened its doors with a retrospective of artist David Herskovitz, inaugurated on July 17 of that year. Later, it adopted its current name in honor of architect Luis “Cartucho” Miró Quesada Garland — a key collaborator of the municipality, a prominent member of the Grupo Espacio, and one of the most influential art critics in the country.
