Inaugurated on July 28, 1944, during the administration of Mayor Carlos Alzamora, this impressive building is the work of renowned architect Luis Miró Quesada Garland. Designed in the neocolonial style, it was declared a Cultural Heritage Site in the year 2000.
Inside, it houses a non-profit contemporary art gallery, where both individual and collective projects are developed, primarily in the field of visual arts.
